Alternative Edge Media Ltd began in a small back bedroom in a Liverpool apartment 6 years ago, though back then it didn’t have a name, and only aspired to be a company. Working around a full time job, a solo podcast “We Need To Talk About Ghosts” was created after binging every paranormal podcast out there, and so, with nothing to listen to, I started my own.

The show, very much love it or hate it, was a tongue in cheek look at the topic. 3 years in, I decided to try and introduce my serious take on the supernatural (which is very much there) and began Podcast Number 2, “The Dark Paranormal”. From Season 4 the show not only found it’s format, but more importantly its audience. Now, reaching half a million downloads per month, the show is in the top 1% followed, shared and downloaded podcasts worldwide (Info: Spotify).

The 3rd podcast “The Deadly Countdown”, launched in October 2023 focusing on True Crime, debuting in the top 50 of the category on both Spotify & Apple Podcasts.

2024? AEM is focused on strengthening the brand, maintaining the momentum, and excitingly, planning ventures in to both TV & film.
